On the Winter Solstice, we honor the longest night of the year and welcome the return of the light. This Winter Solstice Yoga Class will focus on slowing down, reflecting, and aligning with the stillness of the season. We’ll do gentle poses, soothing stretches, and a calming meditation to help us connect with the quiet energy of winter. 


The Winter Solstice is the shortest day and the longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. On this day, the Earth's axial tilt is farthest from the Sun, which results in the Sun being at its lowest point in the sky at noon. This means there is less daylight and more darkness.

The Winter Solstice marks the official start of winter and signifies a time of transition. After the solstice, the days gradually begin to lengthen again, symbolizing the return of light.  themes of renewal, reflection, and hope.
