Beginner Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Class
Join our Beginner Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) class, led by Greg Conner, a 2nd Degree Black  Greg received his black belt from Joe Moreira, a well-respected BJJ legend, and has years of training experience to help you succeed on your BJJ journey.

Class is perfect for those new to martial arts or BJJ. Learn the basics of grips, positions, sweeps, and submissions in a safe, supportive environment.

Highlights:

Focus on foundational techniques and self-defense

Improve strength, flexibility, and mental toughness

Open to ages 10 and up ONLY , no prior experience required. 



***PURE THERAPY CLINIC INC. - BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU CLASS WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY***

By registering for or attending Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes hosted by Pure Therapy Clinic Inc., located at 6 Welch Street, Florenceville, Bristol, NB, the participant acknowledges and agrees to the following:

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK
The Participant understands that participating in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) classes involves physical activity, contact, and inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, joint locks, throws, grappling, falls, strikes, and other vigorous movements. There is a potential for injury, ranging from minor strains to more severe injuries such as broken bones, concussions, spinal injuries, and in rare cases, paralysis or death.

The Participant accepts and assumes full responsibility for any and all risks of injury associated with participation in BJJ classes, including injury resulting from the actions of others or the Participant's own actions.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By registering for or attending Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, the Participant hereby agrees to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Pure Therapy Clinic Inc., its instructors, including Greg Connor (2nd Degree Black Belt), Wendell Glass (Brown Belt), employees, agents, and volunteers, from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action for any injuries, loss, or damages (including death) arising from or related to participation in the classes.

The Participant understands that by attending the classes, they are voluntarily engaging in physical activity and assume all risk of injury, regardless of the cause.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS & FITNESS LEVEL
The Participant affirms that they are in good physical health and capable of participating in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu activities. It is the Participant's responsibility to consult a physician prior to participation if they have any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns about their ability to safely participate.

The Participant agrees to immediately notify the instructor or staff at Pure Therapy Clinic Inc. of any injuries, medical conditions, or concerns that arise during class participation.

COMPLIANCE WITH CLASS RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS
The Participant agrees to adhere to all rules and instructions set by Pure Therapy Clinic Inc. and its instructors during the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes. This includes maintaining respectful behavior toward instructors and fellow participants, following safety protocols, and using proper techniques.

Failure to comply with class rules and instructions may result in removal from the class, at the sole discretion of the instructor, without refund.

PHOTO AND VIDEO CONSENT
The Participant grants permission to Pure Therapy Clinic Inc. to take photographs or videos of their participation in classes. These images or videos may be used for promotional purposes (including social media, website, and marketing materials). If the Participant does not wish to be photographed or recorded, they must notify Pure Therapy Clinic Inc. in writing prior to attending the class.

NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED – AUTOMATIC AGREEMENT
By registering for and/or attending the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class, the Participant acknowledges that they have read and understood the terms and conditions of this waiver and agree to be bound by them. Their participation in the class constitutes their automatic acceptance of these terms.

GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Brunswick . Any disputes arising under or related to this agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of New Brunswick.

SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Participant and Pure Therapy Clinic Inc. in relation to the subject matter hereof, superseding all prior discussions or agreements.
